I recently bought a used vehicle from Boyd Chevrolet through the sales team member – Chuck Hitch. Chuck originally showed me a Toyota Prius I had called about through their website. When I felt that the Prius wasn't a fit for me, Chuck went out of his way to *continue to search* for another vehicle fitting my specifications. Chuck contacted me about a recent trade-in (a 2013 Nissan Altima) and texted me pictures along with the Carfax. We scheduled a test drive that next day and *never felt pressure* to buy while looking over the vehicle. We were offered a great price (within our budget). The car was inspected by the service team and we found out a few repairs were needed which they told us they would take care of (without increasing the price). We agreed to the purchase and when we picked up the vehicle after the repairs were completed, it was detailed inside and out and looked brand new. I highly recommend this dealership and the sales team member Chuck Hitch. Chuck is a very friendly, knowledgeable guy who goes *above and beyond* to ensure a great buying experience. Thank you Chuck!

Over the Top ServiceOn September 29, 2023 my wife & I were traveling to Hilton Head, SC for a family wedding the following day.  Just south of Asheville I received a warning message on my Cadillac Xt5 indicating that my "steering assist was reduced drive carefully".  I had received this message before.  Not knowing exactly what it meant I googled it and found out that in most cases it meant an open thermostat problem that is common with that engine and that it should be covered under my powertrain warranty.  I had taken my vehicle into a dealer by my home in Michigan to have the problem repaired.  They told me it wasn’t a thermostat problem but rather a coolant issue that cost $1,600 to repair.  Needless to say I wasn’t very happy about that but authorized the repair. Upon receiving the message a second  time I was sure the problem was the thermostat. I ask my wife to contact the nearest GM dealer which happened be Boyd GMC in Hendersonville, NC.  We called their service department and explained the issue to their service rep, Randy, as well as the fact that we had to be in Hilton Head that evening.  He said to bring it and they would see what they could do. Randy was there to meet us when we pulled into the service bay.  Using his OBD he confirmed that it was a code #P128 thermostat problem.  He checked with his parts department to confirmed that they had the parts to make the repair and also confirmed that the cost of the repair was covered by my powertrain warranty.  He then told us that because we had been driving for a while the engine was hot and it had to cool before they could work on it and it may take approximately 4 hrs to make the repair.  Of course I authorized the repair.  My wife and I settled in for the wait.Approximately 2 hours later Randy came into the waiting area to tell us that our vehicle was ready.  To say we were surprised and delighted would be an understatement.  Randy explained that knowing our circumstances they put a fan on the engine to help cool the engine faster and assigned one of their best mechanics to do the work.  We really couldn’t believe it.  We were so fortunate to have gone to Boyd GMC. We arrive in Hilton Head at 5PM in time to have dinner with our friends and family.We want to acknowledged Randy and the Boyd service team for a job well done. They went over and above for us and we truly appreciated it.  Thank you so much.Best regards,The McDonalds

Lee our salesmen was great he went out of his way to give us great service.
Great people, have bought about 30 vehicles and this was the best experience I ever had at any dealership. I will definitely look at them first when buying my next vehicle. No pressure sales with the add-ons, they ask if I wanted them, I said no and that was it. Wasn’t mentioned again. Will definitely be a return customer in the future.

Good customer service is so hard to find; but look No further! My Cadillac Escalade had been to two different shops a total of four times and no one could find the problem. My 83 years old mom said "take it to Boyds they'll fix it" , and sure enough they did! Randy, Steven, Joey and the whole crew was excellent! We are so grateful to you all not only for your skills but your kindness and compassion. I was able to drive to Canada, pick up my grandkids, take them to Niagara Falls, Myrtle Beach and back to Canada!!! You guys are AWESOME !!!
